The new Camross, Ballymote development provides high-quality homes designed to strengthen the local community, offering families safe, modern accommodation built using efficient, sustainable construction methods. Delivered under Sligo County Council’s accelerated programme, the project improves access to housing while creating a welcoming, resilient neighbourhood environment.

A new residential development at Cúil Rois, Ballymote, was delivered to provide 39 sustainably designed homes as part of Sligo County Council’s Housing Delivery Action Plan. The scheme comprises 16 one-bed apartments, 8 two-bed apartments, 10 three-bed houses, 4 four-bed houses, and a standalone five-bed house, alongside roads, parking, footpaths, and landscaped public areas. Delivered under the Council’s accelerated design-and-build programme, the project utilises modern methods of construction to ensure quality, efficiency, and long-term performance. Each dwelling type has been carefully designed with functional layouts, own-door access to duplex units, and Universal Design Plus features in selected apartments. Vision Built was appointed as contractor for the scheme, forming part of the region’s first D&B housing framework. Once installed, the homes were completed with full internal fit-out, external works, and high-quality finishes to create a modern, well-connected neighbourhood in Camross.
