St Brigid’s National

St Brigids National School, Singland, Limerick, Ireland, €4.7m
The new St Brigid’s National School building provides a modern, energy‑efficient learning environment where students can thrive. Delivered using advanced volumetric modular construction, the school brings specialist classrooms, SEN spaces and high‑performance sustainability features together in a bright, future‑focused setting.

Vision Built delivered a new two‑storey modular school building for St Brigid’s National School, providing approximately 1,200 m² of permanent education accommodation designed to meet Zero Emissions Building (ZEB) standards. The project includes SEN spaces and specialist classrooms, all constructed using Vision Built’s advanced Category 1 volumetric system. A total of 49 factory‑produced modules were manufactured at the Tubbercurry facility and installed on site over a four‑day period, achieving a rapid, low‑impact delivery on a constrained site. The building was then sealed, integrated and completed with enhanced façades, MVHR systems, PV infrastructure and external works.
